Chiropractic care - Testimonials

My name is Annette Klosler. Two years ago, after a year and a half of many visits to different specialists and many, many tests, I was told that I would probably never conceive, and at 31 years of age I was labelled infertile. This was a devastating diagnosis for two people who really wanted children.

One year ago, my first visit to Dr. Hardick was prompted by a stiff neck. Dr. Hardick first took some x-rays of my spine and neck. He was quite concerned about the x-ray results, as I had a severe subluxation in my lower back. He explained to me that this vertebra housed the nerve roots that supported organs in my body such as my bladder, bowel, and reproductive organs. As we were looking at the x-rays, Dr. Hardick asked if my husband and I had any children. I then explained to him my clinical diagnosis of being infertile.

Dr. Hardick asked me to give him three months, and explained that he wasn’t God, but he would do what he could to help me. I started a very disciplined schedule of appointments with Dr. Hardick, and almost immediately noticed that, in general, I felt better. When I ran at the gym, my legs no longer ached. I tried to put out of my mind what Dr. Hardick had told me, because I didn’t want to get my hopes up too high, but at night I would pray for God to work through Dr. Hardick’s hands, and bless us with the gift of a child.

Last summer, my husband and I found out that we were 6 weeks pregnant. There are absolutely no words to describe how I felt that day! Doctors were amazed – all but Dr. Hardick. He wasn’t surprised at all. He simply smiled and said, “I thought chiropractic could help you.”




Lauren is now 7 weeks old, and in 7 short weeks, has brought so much joy to our lives. She is truly a little angel from above, and a miracle of life and love. The most important lesson that I have learned from all of this that our bodies do have the ability to heal themselves – all we have to do is provide the right environment. Chiropractic care is part of that environment. I still make regular visits to Dr. Hardick. Chiropractic care is still part of my life, and now part of Lauren’s life.




When asked why they should create a "Chicken Soup for the Chiropractic Soul," since millions of the books had already been sold as part of the New York Times Best Selling series, authors Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen said, "Because both of us and our families have benefited greatly from chiropractic care and we would like to help create a greater awareness as to why chiropractic should be considered as an important part of everyone's health care choice. We hope it will become the greatest communication tool ever created to bring the message of chiropractic to the hundreds of millions of people that can be helped by chiropractic care."

When the project was announced in 2000, the Hardicks communicated with the publishers, and submitted a number of unique testimonials from Hardick Chiropractic Centre to the editorial review board. Annette Kloser was thrilled to learn that her story had been selected for print. Annette's story was selected out of hundreds submitted.
