Systemic Lupus, Raynaud's Disease, and Borderline Diabetes

Ten years ago, I was diagnosed with systemic lupus, raynaud's disease, and borderline diabetes. For years prior, I had experienced neck, knee, and back pain, and had been plagued by a slipped disc. I enjoy gardening, walking on my home treadmill in the parks, and crafts. All of these activities were becoming more and more difficult. My extreme pains were tiring me out - I had to sit every 15 minutes for a rest.

My family doctor sent me to physiotherapy. My physiotherapist stated I needed to see a specialist immediately. After I was placed on 2 waiting lists for over 9 months, the physiotherapist quickly referred me to an orthopedic surgeon out of town, who performed surgery on me the next day. I went on to have 4 surgeries in all. Still, I lived with daily pain - which was gradually getting worse - and I relied on heavy medication to get through my days.

My son Duane mentioned to me that his girlfriend Lisa had been a patient at Hardick Chiropractic Centre since she was a baby, and that he had recently started going. Knowing of the extreme pain in my back, and knowing that I was still taking pain pills, Duane suggested I be evaluated by Dr. Hardick.

Dr. Hardick identified and explained to me the subluxations in my spine, and the spinal degeneration that went along with them. Following my first adjustment, I immediately felt better. I found everything became easier and more enjoyable. I was amazed that I could go a full day without medication. That "day" turned into a week, and a week turned into a month. Never in a million years did I think this would be possible.

I have improved 300%. Even getting in and out of my car, the shower or bath tub, and doing household chores, there was an immediate dramatic difference. Just today at work, everyone mentioned how excited and pumped up I was. I told them my entire life had just been changed in a few short weeks by a fabulous chiropractor. No more pain pills, which I was previously taking around the clock!!!

I am so pleased, and so very, very happy Duane introduced me to chiropractic. God works in mysterious ways. Circumstances in my life were making my stress levels extreme. Now my visits to Dr. Hardick's office have given me and my family a great deal of confidence. I could never begin to explain how wonderful I am beginning to feel. I have so much more energy.
