My 8 year old son, Brandon, always suffered from nosebleeds, on an almost daily basis. It would sometimes wreck his shirts. Any activity he would take part in would cause his nose to run and be mixed with blood. Brandon’s nosebleeds often occurred at night, disrupting his sleep and staining his sheets. I had mentioned this to our family doctor and was told that it could be caused by dryness in the air or weakened blood vessels in the nose. He suggested that we try a gel available at the drug store that would add some moisture back to the nostrils. We tried this but found it a little messy and uncomfortable.

After being referred to the Hardick Chiropractic Centre myself, I decided to have my children screened as well. Dr. B.J. Hardick discussed with me about having the kids X-rayed to see if they had any subluxations of the spine. Subluxations can often occur from birth and one may not know that they have them because they might not display any symptoms. At first I wasn’t sure, thinking my kids were alright and too young for chiropractic care.

Out of curiosity, I had the kids X-rayed. My daughter had a curvature of the spine and my son Brandon had some subluxations in the neck. Dr. Hardick explained that Brandon’s nosebleeds could be caused by these subluxations. Never in a million years did I think his spine would affect his nose. Dr. Hardick shared some success stories with similar conditions and showed me some before and after X-rays. I couldn’t believe the difference. I decided to have my kids give chiropractic care a try.

Almost immediately after Brandon started receiving chiropractic care, the nosebleeds slowed down and he rarely has any now. It’s amazing and we are all very happy with the results. Brandon loves coming to the chiropractor – he says it feels good!

Dr. Hardick has always been very positive and reassuring. He is very knowledgeable and thorough, and is more than happy to answer any questions. It is obvious he cares about people. Chiropractic care may be the answer in helping with many ailments and is also great for prevention – the natural way.
