15 signs of an unhealthy spine

While it is only through years of training and thorough analytical techniques that a doctor of chiropractic can detect subluxations, there are simple things you can look for to evaluate your spinal health. The Chiropractic Awareness Council website lists the following 15 warning signs of a subluxated spine.

1.  Your heels wear out unevenly.
2.  You can't take a satisfying deep breath.
3.  Your jaw "clicks."
4.  You have to "crack" your neck, back, or other joints a lot.
5.  You can't twist or turn your head of hips to either side easily and equally.
6.  You are often fatigued.
7.  You have poor concentration.
8.  You have a low resistance to disease.
9.  Your foot flares out when walking.
10.  One leg appears shorter than the other.
11.  You have poor posture.
12.  You have headaches, back aches, sore or tender spots in muscles or joints.
13.  You have a constant stressful feeling.
14.  You feel stiffness in your back and neck.
15.  You just don't feel right, you are in general poor health.

Remember, even a chiropractor must be examined by another chiropractor to have his or her subluxations assessed. So, while these 15 "warning signs" may provide "clues" to one's spinal health, periodic chiropractic check-ups are recommended for people of all age groups, whether there are "warning signs" or not. If you know someone who experiences any of these problems, won't you please encourage them to try chiropractic, today?
