My son, Luke, has been diagnosed by the medical profession as having attention deficit disorder ("ADD"). Also, Luke used to sleep-walk regularly. He is ten years old, and started taking the drug ritalin at the age of four. For six years he took these pills, three and four times a day. Luke also underwent group therapy and individual counseling.
Recently, I started seeing Dr. Hardick for chiropractic care, and within the first week, Dr. Hardick examined Luke's spine, too. X-rays of Luke's spine showed misaligned vertebrae, subluxations, which were obviously causing nerve interference. Dr. Hardick advised that Luke be adjusted three times per week for six weeks, to correct his subluxations.
Two and a half weeks after Luke's first chiropractic adjustment, he was no longer sleep-walking. Luke's attention span increased dramatically, and he was nowhere near as restless as he was before the chiropractic adjustments.
Week to week, Luke's medications were slowly cut back. Over the last three months, Luke's intake of ritalin has decreased from 120 tablets per month (4 pills daily), to zero. Luke's physical activities have increased, as well as his appetite. Luke is reading more and more, and finally able to enjoy sports. Luke's mind is sharper and more teachable with each chiropractic adjustment.
My own peace of mind is improving as I watch my son grow, strengthen, learn, and lead a drug- nee life. There is real laughter and advancement nom Luke. I believe that all children should receive chiropractic care so that they can enjoy their lives to the fullest.
Ritalin destroys young minds and bodies. Adjustments repair these damaged children.
